The Hillsboro Hawks basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting DeSoto Dragons to 40 in the Hawks league victory on Thursday.
The Hawks now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seckman for a non-league contest on Friday, January 26. Hillsboro will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 52-49 non-league win over North County (Bonne Terre, MO). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-4.
The Dragons (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Crystal City (Crystal City, MO). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Crystal City was routed by Grandview (Hillsboro, MO), 66-31, in a league contest.
