The Drew basketball team (Riverdale, GA), was overwhelmed 58-14 in Thursday's league battle with the host McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA)

The Chiefs now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside for a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Friday, January 19. McIntosh will confront a Patriots team coming off a 61-55 non-league loss to Greenforest (Decatur, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-11.

The (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Tigers come into the AAAAA Region 3 battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Harris County trounced Northgate (Newnan, GA), 47-45, in a league battle.
