Southeast Knights (Kansas City, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting East (Kansas City, MO), 35-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Southeast upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Plattsburg (Plattsburg, MO) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Plattsburg lost 60-40 in their recent league bout against Lawson (Lawson, MO)

Next up, the play the Guadalupe Centers Aztecs (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. East will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
