The North Plainfield Canucks (North Plainfield, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Edison Eagles (Edison, NJ), 61-35 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Canucks (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Bombers go into the Greater Middlesex - White test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Sayreville was trounced by Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ), 64-21, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to South Plainfield for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Edison will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 43-32 non-league win over Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 8-3.
