The First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders (Greenville, SC) basketball nipped the visiting Greenwood Christian Hawks (Greenwood, SC), 29-22 in Thursday's league test.

The Crusaders (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Spartanburg Christian Academy (Spartanburg, SC). The Warriors go into the SCISA AAA Region III test with a 2-8 record.

The Hawks now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Northside Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Greenwood Christian will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 49-28 league loss to Orangeburg Prep (Orangeburg, SC). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-5.
