Virginia High School Basketball - Fleming can't hold off Patrick Henry

The Patrick Henry Patriots basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Fleming Colonels to 48 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christiansburg for a River Ridge contest on Friday, January 19. Patrick Henry will battle a Blue Demons team coming off a 39-34 league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Blue Demons record now stands at 8-5.
The Colonels (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Terriers enter the Blue Ridge contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, William Byrd nudged Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 36-34, in a league contest.
