The Tidewater Academy Warriors (Wakefield, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Fuqua Falcons (Farmville, VA), 47-26 in Thursday's league test.
The Warriors (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA). The go into the VISAA Division IV test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Banner Christian was trounced by Grove Christian School (Richmond, VA), 44-15, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Cumberland for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 24. Fuqua will encounter a Dukes squad coming off a 37-36 league win over Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Dukes record now stands at 5-4.
