The Iroquois Braves basketball team (Erie, PA), was overwhelmed 50-20 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA)

The Yellowjackets now possess a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host North East for a District 10 Region 3 battle on Monday, January 22. Girard will confront a Grape Pickers team coming off a 54-33 league loss to Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA). The Grape Pickers record now stands at 9-5.

The Braves (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Northwestern (Albion, PA). The Wildcats come into the District 10 Region 3 battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Northwestern trounced Seneca (Erie, PA), 52-43, in a league battle.
