Illinois High School Basketball - Grant Park overwhelmed by Tri-Point

The Tri-Point Chargers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Grant Park Dragons to 23 in the Chargers league victory on Thursday.

The Chargers now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Illinois Lutheran for a River Valley contest on Monday, January 22. Tri-Point will battle a Chargers team coming off a 48-46 league win over Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 3-12.

The Dragons (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Beecher (Beecher, IL). The Bobcats come into the River Valley contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Beecher was routed by Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL), 48-35, in a non-league contest.
