The Haldane Blue Devils basketball team (Cold Spring, NY), was overwhelmed 61-31 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY)
The Tigers now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hendrick Hudson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 23. Putnam Valley will battle a Sailors team coming off a 56-53 league win over Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY). The Sailors record now stands at 9-3.
The Blue Devils (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Beacon (Beacon, NY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 15-2 record. In their last battle, Beacon trounced Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus (New York, NY), 52-38, in a non-league battle.
