The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) basketball nipped the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), 50-45 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Vikings (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins go into the SouthWest Suburban - Blue test with a 20-3 record. In their last test, Lincoln-Way East got by Andrew (Tinley Park, IL), 45-24, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln-Way West for a SouthWest Suburban - Red test on Monday, January 22. Lincoln-Way Central will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 67-44 non-league loss to Normal Community (Normal, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 10-13.
