The Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) basketball crushed the visiting Iowa-Grant Panthers (Livingston, WI), 70-36 in Thursday's league test.
The Pointers (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Cuba City (Cuba City, WI). The Cubans go into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Cuba City walloped Fennimore (Fennimore, WI), 48-33, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Wauzeka-Steuben for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Iowa-Grant will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 65-35 league win over North Crawford (Soldiers Grove, WI). The Hornets record now stands at 11-1.
