Illinois High School Basketball - Unity Christian Academy thwarts Islamic Foundation

The Unity Christian Academy Phoenix (South Holland, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL), 38-20 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Phoenix (11-2) will now prepare for their test against College Prep of America (Lombard, IL). The Thunder go into the Metro Prep test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, College Prep of America went down by Aqsa (Bridgeview, IL), 27-16, in a league test.
The Chargers now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Muchin College Prep for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Islamic Foundation will encounter a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 43-21 league win over DRW College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 5-8.
