The Kennedy Knights basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Roosevelt Educational Roughriders to 29 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lehman for a PSAL AAAA Bronx contest on Tuesday, January 30. Kennedy will meet a Lions team coming off a 42-28 non-league loss to Luther (Maspeth, NY). The Lions record now stands at 1-12.

The Roughriders (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Columbus (Bronx, NY). The Blue Steel enter the PSAL AAAA Bronx contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Columbus ran past Bronx High School of Science (Bronx, NY), 62-59, in a league contest.
