Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) and the visiting Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL), saw Kankakee's basketball squad wallop Thornton by a tally of 49-20.
With the victory, Kankakee improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Kays host Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL) to confront the Blazing Trojan in a Southland challenge on Monday, January 22. The Blazing Trojan come into the challenge with a record of 17-5. Bloom won 58-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Chicago Marshall (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL) in a Southland challenge, on Monday, January 22. Thornton will attempt to improve on its 14-6 season record.
