The Lake Forest Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Laurel Bulldogs to 37 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Sussex Academy for a Henlopen - Southern bout on Tuesday, January 23. Lake Forest will play a Seahawks squad coming off a 59-28 league loss to Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Seahawks record now stands at 1-7.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Woodbridge Raiders (Bridgeville, DE) in a Henlopen - Southern bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Laurel will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 66-38 league win over Early College (Dover, DE).
