The North Stokes Vikings basketball team scored 59 points and held the host South Stokes Sauras to 37 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Wilkes for a 1A Northwest contest on Wednesday, January 24.

The Sauras (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Buckin' Elks enter the 1A Northwest contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Elkin triumphed over Alleghany (Sparta, NC), 38-25, in a league contest.
