New Mexico High School Basketball - Whitehorse trounces Northwest

The Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT) basketball crushed the host Northwest Falcons (Shiprock, NM), 70-19 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Raiders (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Monument Valley (Monument Valley, UT). The Cougars go into the 1A Region 19 test with a 15-1 record. In their last test, Monument Valley walloped Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), 61-41, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to Coronado for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Northwest will encounter a Leopards squad coming off a 46-26 non-league loss to Native American Community Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Leopards record now stands at 3-7.
