The Palmerton Blue Bombers basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders to 42 in the Blue Bombers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Blue Bombers now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catasauqua for a Colonial - North contest on Saturday, January 20. Palmerton will meet a Rough Riders team coming off a 46-29 non-league loss to Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 4-4.

The Crusaders (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Moravian Academy was nudged by Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA), 53-13, in a non-league contest.
