Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ) and the host Oakcrest Falcons (Mays Landing, NJ), saw St. Joseph's basketball squad hold off Oakcrest by a tally of 37-34.
With the victory, St. Joseph improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Mastery (Camden, NJ) to confront the Warrior in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Warrior come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Mastery lost 44-22 in their recent league challenge against Kimberton Waldorf (Kimberton, PA)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Paulsboro Red Raiders (Paulsboro, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Oakcrest will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 64-39 league loss to Sterling (Somerdale, NJ).
