The Skiatook Bulldogs tipped the host Oologah Mustangs basketball team by a score of 45-38 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Locust Grove for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 20. Skiatook will battle a Pirates team coming off a 58-21 league win over Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 9-3.
The Mustangs (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Eagles come into the Verdigris Valley battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, Sequoyah was nudged by Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK), 58-21, in a league battle.
