Louisiana High School Basketball - Southside trounces Opelousas

The Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Opelousas Tigers (Opelousas, LA), 60-24 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Sharks (20-3) will now prepare for their test against Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Golden Tors go into the 5A District 3 test with a 12-13 record. In their last test, Sulphur walloped Acadiana (Lafayette, LA), 31-25, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Livonia for a 4A District 5 test on Friday, January 19.
