The Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) basketball nipped the host Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX), 54-51 in Thursday's league test.
The Lobos (25-5) will now prepare for their test against Martin (Laredo, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A Region IV District 30 test with a 14-16 record. In their last test, Martin got by Nixon (Laredo, TX), 35-32, in a league test.
