St. Ignatius Bulldogs (St. Ignatius, MT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Plains Horsemen (Plains, MT), 61-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Ignatius upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Alberton (Alberton, MT) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Alberton lost 43-33 in their recent non-league bout against Plains (Plains, MT)

Next up, the Horsemen play the Lincoln County Lions (Eureka, MT) in a B District 7 bout, on Friday, January 19. Plains will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 59-10 league win over Troy (Troy, MT).
