With the victory, River Oaks improves its record to 14-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Providence Classical Academy (Bossier City, LA) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Providence Classical Academy lost 77-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Word of God Academy (Shreveport, LA)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Hillcrest Christian Cougars (Jackson, MS) in a MAIS 3A District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Prairie View Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-18 record after their 43-35 league loss to Franklin Academy (Winnsboro, LA).
