The Sherrard Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Rockridge Rockets to 40 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Sherrard will battle a Titans team coming off a 55-38 league win over Liberty (Liberty, IL). The Titans record now stands at 11-5.

The Rockets (6-17) will now prepare for their bout against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL). The Titans come into the Three Rivers - West bout with a 14-11 record. In their last bout, Monmouth-Roseville was edged by Illini West (Carthage, IL), 39-37, in a non-league bout.
