Thief River Falls Prowlers (Thief River Falls, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Roseau Rams (Roseau, MN), 73-64 in a league bout.

With the win, Thief River Falls upgrades its record to 4-11 on the season. The Prowlers travel to Frazee (Frazee, MN) to play the Hornets in a AA Section 8 bout on Saturday, January 20. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Frazee lost 66-48 in their recent non-league bout against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MN)

Next up, the Rams play the Warroad Warriors (Warroad, MN) in a AA Section 8 bout, on Monday, January 22. Roseau will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 74-42 non-league loss to Kittson Central/Lancaster (Hallock, MN).
