The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Austin lost 53-26 in their recent league bout against Madison (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Apollos clash with the Galena Park Yellowjackets (Galena Park, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 bout, on Friday, January 19. Sharpstown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 10-14 record after their 72-47 league loss to Sterling (Houston, TX).
