Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA), 68-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wilmington upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Greenville (Greenville, PA) to play the Trojans in a District 10 Region 4 bout on Monday, January 22. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Greenville won 52-37 in their recent non-league bout against Laurel (New Castle, PA)

Next up, the Rockets play the Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 bout, on Monday, January 22. Slippery Rock will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 58-43 non-league win over Saegertown (Saegertown, PA).
