The Stearns Minutemen basketball team (Millinocket, ME), was overwhelmed 69-22 in Thursday's league battle with the host Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME)
The Warriors now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Easton for a D North battle on Monday, January 22. Southern Aroostook will confront a Bears team coming off a 54-13 league loss to Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Bears record now stands at 5-6.
The Minutemen (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Howlers come into the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Penobscot Valley was overwhelmed by Dexter (Dexter, ME), 46-32, in a league battle.
