California High School Basketball - Tehachapi crushes West

January 18, 2024: Tehachapi, CA 93561

Tehachapi Warriors (Tehachapi, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Vikings (Bakersfield, CA), 71-19 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tehachapi upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Blades in a South Yosemite - Mountain bout on Monday, January 22. The Blades come into the bout with a record of 11-8. East Bakersfield won 51-43 in their recent league bout against North (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Yucca Valley Trojans (Yucca Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. West will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 19-4 record after their 66-29 league win over Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA).
