Valley Christian Eagles (Missoula, MT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Victor Pirates (Victor, MT), 36-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Seeley-Swan (Seeley Lake, MT) to play the Blackhawks in a C District 13 bout on Saturday, January 20. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Seeley-Swan lost 41-35 in their recent league bout against Lincoln (Lincoln, MT)

Next up, the Pirates play the Drummond Trojans (Drummond, MT) in a C District 13 bout, on Saturday, January 20. Victor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 32-29 league loss to Granite (Philipsburg, MT).
