The West Delaware Hawks basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Williamsburg Raiders to 40 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hawks now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a WAMAC - East contest on Friday, January 19. West Delaware will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 44-37 league win over Solon (Solon, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-1.

The Raiders (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA). The Clippers enter the WAMAC - West contest with a 12-0 record. In their last contest, Clear Creek-Amana ran past South Tama County (Tama, IA), 71-21, in a league contest.
