The Desert Mountain Wolves basketball team scored 20 points and restricted the visiting Cactus Shadows Falcons to 18 in the Wolves league win on Thursday.

With the win, Desert Mountain upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wolves host Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) to clash with the Saints in a bout on Friday, January 19. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 10-0. Notre Dame Prep won 61-15 in their recent league bout against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) in a bout, on Monday, January 22. Cactus Shadows will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Firebirds go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 35-32 non-league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ).
