Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC), 23-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Chapin upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to River Bluff (Lexington, SC) to clash with the Gators in a bout on Monday, January 22. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Timberwolves clash with the Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 24. White Knoll will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 39-26 league win over Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC).
