The Franklin County Eagles basketball team (Rocky Mount, VA), was overwhelmed 42-15 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA)
The Cavaliers now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blacksburg for a non-league battle on Monday, January 22.
The Eagles (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Terriers come into the non-league battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, William Byrd was overwhelmed by Northside (Roanoke, VA), 31-16, in a non-league battle.
