In Thursday's non-league outing, the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA), by a count of 38-13.

The Statesmen (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Generals go into the non-league outing with a 10-1 record.

The Patriots now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Langley for a non-league outing on Monday, January 22. Yorktown will clash with a Saxons squad coming off a 36-33 league win over Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Saxons record now stands at 3-5.
