North Augusta Yellow Jackets (North Augusta, SC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), 39-22 in a league bout.
With the victory, North Augusta upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host South Aiken (Aiken, SC) to play the Thoroughbreds in a bout on Monday, January 22. The Thoroughbreds come into the bout with a record of 2-7. South Aiken won 26-25 in their recent non-league bout against Aiken (Aiken, SC)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a bout, on Thursday, January 25. Midland Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record.
