Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Prospectors confront the Dysart Demons (El Mirage, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Apache Junction will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Demons enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 2-1 league win over Tempe (Tempe, AZ).

The Dons now possess a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vista Grande for a 4A Black Canyon challenge on Tuesday, January 23. Coronado will confront a Spartans team coming off a 7-1 league win over Cortez (Phoenix, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 5-7.
