West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), 9-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) in a Northern Athletic challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. West Valley will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Cubs enter the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 1-0 league loss to Yreka (Yreka, CA).
The Falcons now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host University Prep for a Northern Athletic challenge on Tuesday, January 23. Central Valley will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-4.
