St. Genevieve Valiants (Panorama City, CA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA), 2-1 in a league test.

The Valiants now sport a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Montgomery for a Del Rey test on Tuesday, January 23. St. Genevieve will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Paraclete drops to 7-6 on the season. The Spirits host Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA) to encounter the Lancers in a Del Rey test on Tuesday, January 23. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 11-10.
