In Thursday's league challenge, the Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA) ice hockey team the host Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA), by a margin of 7-3.

The Antelopes now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blackhawk for a PIHL Class A Blue challenge on Monday, January 22. Avonworth will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 7-2 league win over Plum (Pittsburgh, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-3.

The Bobcats (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Hampton (Allison Park, PA). The Talbots enter the PIHL Class A Blue challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Hampton tipped Freeport (Freeport, PA), 3-2, in a league challenge.
