In Thursday's league test, the visiting Gorham Rams ice hockey team scored a tight 5-2 win over the Cape Elizabeth Capers.

The Rams (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Hornets enter the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Leavitt held off Gorham (Gorham, ME), 11-2, in a non-league test.

Next up, the Capers encounter the Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME) in a Class B South test, on Saturday, January 20. Cape Elizabeth will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Rangers enter the test with a 7-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME).
