Braddock Bulldogs (Miami, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Varela Vipers (Miami, FL), 53-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Braddock upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host South Dade (Homestead, FL) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 25. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 2-4. South Dade lost 86-16 in their recent non-league bout against Homestead (Homestead, FL)

Next up, the Vipers play the Goleman Gators (Miami, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Varela will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 63-51 league loss to Hialeah Gardens (Hialeah Gardens, FL).
