Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA), 55-17 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Buckingham upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Nottoway (Nottoway, VA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Chargers play the Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Lunenburg Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
