The Hobgood Charter Raiders basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Community Christian Cyclones to 49 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Raiders now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia for a contest on Friday, January 19. Hobgood Charter will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 43-32 non-league loss to Southside (Chocowinity, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.

The Cyclones (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gramercy Christian (Newport, NC). The Warriors enter the contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Gramercy Christian nudged Fellowship Christian Academy (Jacksonville, NC), 42-10, in a non-league contest.
