Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC), 46-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lakewood upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Camden (Camden, SC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 5-4.

The Knights (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lake City (Lake City, SC). The Panthers come into the battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Lake City was toppled by Darlington (Darlington, SC), 39-24, in a league battle.
