In Thursday's non-league outing, the Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA) basketball squad edged the host Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA), by a count of 32-26.
The Indians (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Chilhowie held off Johnson County (Mountain City, TN), 57-40, in a non-league outing.
