The Lafayette Hornets basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Jefferson County Tigers to 22 in the Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.

The Hornets now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Lafayette will battle a Trojans team coming off a 51-17 league loss to Union County (Lake Butler, FL). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.

The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Florida Christian (Tallahassee, FL). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record.
