In Thursday's league match, the host Juniata Indians basketball team scored a good 34-24 triumph over the Newport Buffaloes.
In their next game, the Indians meet the Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 27. Juniata will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.

The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-15. East Juniata lost 40-14 in their recent non-league match against Camp Hill (Camp Hill, PA)
